Keeping the union of a man and a woman as partners in a relationship is not as easy as the word marriage sounds. It takes the two parties involved to make a marriage work, and when one disagrees, the bond is broken. Regular couples do face hitches and temptations that tend to drive their marriages to the rock, how much more celebrities who are constantly in the spotlight and are always busy traveling from one location to the other. 1.Chika Ike
Another victim of domestic abuse. Chika was married to Tony Ebieri but she later filed for divorce and won. Seems the divorce did her good because she has grown even bigger in her career and is currently running a TV reality show ‘African Divas.’
2.Stephanie Okereke
Stephanie Okereke is a famous Nollywood actress, director, producer and a television personality. Stephanie Okereke was briefly married to Chikelue Iloanus but she left him when he began cheating on her. There were accusation and counter-accusation of infidelity. Chikelue Iloanus also blamed his mother in-law for the crash too. After few months of her breakup, Stephanie Okereke remarried again to Mr. Linus Idahosa and they recently welcomed their first child together.
3.Stella Damasus
Stella Damasus is a famous Nollywood actress and a television personality. Stella Damasus and her second husband Emeka Nzeribe didn’t stay up to a year in their marriage and many of her fans were shocked when she revealed that she is done with her marriage. Stella Damasus was said to have rushed into that marriage and rushed out as well. But right now she is happy to have found true love with her new man in the person of Daniel.
4.Kenneth Okonkwo
Kenneth was married to the only daughter of CPM General Overseer, Ogechi Ezekiel, but the marriage lasted barely two years and finally crashed in 2002. The two have a son together.
5.Bukky Wright
Bukky Wright is a famous Nollywood actress and a television personality. Rumours have it that Bukky Wright is married to three other men aside from her new husband. Her first marriage was to Gboyega Amu with whom she had two children for. Her next husband was fellow actor Rotimi Makinde who she married without officially divorcing Gboyega Amu. The union lasted a few years before she finally moves to Femi Davies. Bukky Wright and Femi Davies got married at the Akodo Registry in Lagos without still dissolving her earlier marriages. Her marriage with Femi Davies didn’t last up to a year and she left him without officially divorcing the marriage. As of today she is currently married to a renowned music promoter Bolaji Saheed.
6.Tonto Dikeh and Olakunle Churchill
The 34 years old controversial Actress, Singer , Song Writer and Humanitarian Tonto Charity Dikeh got married on the 25th of August 2015 to her Millionaire Beau Olakunle Churchill but things came to a messy end in 2017.
Their divorce was a really bad one as they both accused each other of several things and called each other unprintable names. Their union actually produced a beautiful son King Andre Omodayo Churchill.
7.Fatai & Saheed Balogun
These two Yoruba actors shocked their fans when they came public about their separation. At a point after the separation, Saheed started having problems with his ex-wife still bearing his last name.
8.Tiwa Savage and Tee Billz
The 40 years old Star Singer got married to her Manager Tunji "Tee Billz" Balogun traditionally on the 23rd of November 2013 and their white wedding was held on the 26th of April 2014 at the Armani Hotel in Dubai.
However On 28 April 2016, Balogun accused his wife of infidelity and his mother-in-law of witchcraft. The Singer debunked her husband's claims and accused him of financial recklessness, abandonment and drug addiction. And announced that her marriage to him was over though the legal process of their divorce is not yet concluded. They have a son together Jamil Balogun.
9.Juliet Ibrahim
Pretty Juliet’s marriage to pilot Kwadwo Safo ended a while ago and Juliet recently announced it. The marriage which produced a son crashed over Mr Safo’s alleged cheating habit and his family’s unnecessary interferences with her career.
10.Damilola Adegbite and Chris Attoh
This 34 years old Nigerian actress, model, and television personality and her Ghanaian Beau Chris Attoh were both Costars in the Soap Opera Tinsel and wedded in 2015 but the union came to a mutual end just two years later in 2017, though they have a child together Brian Nii Ayittey Olaferomi Attoh.
A year after their divorce in September 2017, he re-married on the 6th October 2018 to US based business Woman Bettie Jennifer at a private ceremony in Accra but sadly she died less than a year later from gunshots by an unknown assailant.
