1. Pete Edochie
Pete Edochie was born on the 7th of March, 1947. He is regarded as one of the most talented actors in the Nollywood industry. However, he came into limelight at the age of 38, after playing a leading role in the movie, 'Things Fall Apart' in the 1980s. He has been in the Nigerian movie industry for over 35 years.
2. Nkem Owoh
Nkem Owoh was born on the 7th of February, 1958. He is popular known as Osuofia as a result of his role in the award winning movie, 'Osuofia in London'. Nkem Owoh had his first major breakthrough in acting after featuring in the screen adaptation of Chinua Achebe's Things Fall Apart. However he went into acting full time in the 1990s and also acted in the movie, Ukwa 1 and 2 in 1995. He has been in the Nollywood industry for over 35 years.
3. Kanayo O Kanayo
Anayo Modestus Onyekwere MFR, popularly known as Kanayo O Kanayo, was born on the 1st of March, 1962. The veteran Nollywood actor came into limelight in the Nollywood movie industry after playing the role of Chief Omego in the movie, 'Living In Bondage' in 1992. He has been in the Nigerian movie industry for over 35 years.
4. Ngozi Ezeonu
Ngozi Ezeonu was born on the 23rd of May, 1965. She was introduced into Nollywood in 1993, and played a lead supporting role in the movie, 'Nneka The Pretty Serpent'. However, she had her breakthrough in the Nollywood industry after her role in the movie, 'Glamour Girls'. She has been in the industry for over 25 years.
5. Omotola Jalade Ekeinde
Omotola Jalade Ekeinde was born on the 7th of February, 1978. She was however, introduced to acting while accompanying a friend to an audition. She got her first role in the movie, 'Venom of Justice' where she played the lead role in 1995. She has been in the Nollywood industry for over 25 years.
6. Patience Ozokwor
Patience Ozokwor, known popularly as Mama G, was born on the 14th of September, 1958. She joined the Nollywood movie industry in 1998 and came into limelight a year later, after playing a role in the movie, 'Authority'. She has been in the industry for over 20 years.
7. Genevieve Nnaji
Genevieve Nnaji was born on the 3rd of May, 1979. She began her acting career at an early age of 8 years in the then-popular TV soap opera, Ripples. in 1998, she made her debut in the growing Nollywood industry with the movie 'Most Wanted'. However, Genevieve Nnaji has been in the Nollywood industry for over 20 years.
8. Rita Dominic
Rita Dominic was born on the 12th of July, 1975. She started acting in local TV dramas at the age of 5. However, she began her professional acting career in 1998 and also acted in her first movie, 'A Time To Kill' in the same year. She has been in the industry for over 20 years.
9. Uche Jombo
Uche Jombo was born on the 28th of December, 1979. She made her debut in the Nollywood industry when she acted a role in the movie, 'Visa to Hell' in 1999. She has been in the industry for over 20 years.
10. Chioma Chukwuka
Chioma Chukwuka was born on the 12th of March, 1980. She began her acting career in 2000 with the movie, 'The Apple'. She also played a role in the movie, 'The handkerchief' in the same year. She has been in the Nigerian movie industry for over 20 years.
