1. Nuella Njubigbo
Nuella Njubigbo is a famous Nollywood actress and a television personality. On 29th March 2014, Nuella Njubigbo got married to Nollywood film director Tchidi Chikere who was previously married to Nollywood actress Sophia Chikere for over six years, a union which produced 3 kids in her family compound in Anambra State, Nigeria. Their union was the subject to a lot of public criticisms as she was accused of putting asunder on Tchidi Chikere’s initial marriage in order to have him to herself.
2. Mercy Aigbe
Mercy Aigbe is a famous Nollywood actress and a television personality, always known for featuring in Yoruba speaking movies. Mercy Aigbe and her estranged husband, Lanre Gentry got married in 2013 and have two children namely Juwon Gentry and Michelle Aigbe. They also had three step daughters. In 2017, Mercy Aigbe shared photos of herself after allegedly being assaulted by her husband. She immediately separated from her husband due to claims of domestic violence. Mercy Johnson has been married to Prince Odianosen Okojie since 2011 and they have three children, and even expecting the fourth one. In 2011, one Mrs. Lovely Okojie sent out an open letter to Mercy Johnson begging her to please release her husband for her and find a single man for herself to marry. Lovely Okojie claimed that Prince Odianosen Okojie is the father of her two children and he was still legally married to her at that time.

Ini Edo is a famous Nollywood actress and a television personality. In 2008, Ini Edo wedded her American-based hubby, Phillips Ehiagwina. A year earlier, one lady by the name Ruth Okoro, who was said to be Phillips’ wife (as at that time) allegedly, wrote an open letter to the beautiful Nollywood actress, warning her to steer clear of her husband. In 2014, Ini Edo and her husband split. Incidentally, Ini Edo had no children in her marriage with Phillip Ehiagwina, which made their divorce process easier. She is now married to another man.

Funke Akindele is a famous Nollywood actress, producer and a television personality known for her role as Jenifa in the television series Jenifa’s Diary. Funke Akindele first marriage was to Mr. Kehinde Oloyede in a very glamorous wedding and it can be said to be one of the shortest marriages in the history of Nollywood. Mr. Kenyinde Oloyede already had about six children from three different women when he got married to Funke Akindele. The actress later divorced him with claims of domestic violence. Funke Akindele is now married to Nigerian rapper Abdul Rasheed Bello, also known as JJC Skillz, and the marriage took place in London on May 2016 and they are now parents to twin boys.

She married her first husband, Jaiye Aboderin, at the age of 21 in 1999. The couple had two daughters before Jaiye Aboderin died suddenly in 2005. Then in 2007, Stella Damasus gave love a chance and got married again, this time to Emeka Nzeribe. The marriage lasted for seven months before a mutual agreement to divorce.
