Korra Obidi has revealed in a fresh video that she one aspect of the Nigerian culture informed her decision to look for a husband in America.
According to her, her role as a woman in an African home where she always has to be in the kitchen and greeting family members from both her side and that of her husband traditionally when they visit her home put her off.
Apparently, that has backfired as the refuge she sought in the hands of a foreigner did not do her any good after her marriage ended a few weeks ago.
She and Justin Dean separated soon after the birth of their second child. They have both accused each other of cheating and irreconcilable differences as the major cause of the breakup.
In her words,
“WHY DID I GO ALL THE WAY TO AMERICA TO FIND LOVE? ONE OF THE REASONS IS BECAUSE I HATED SLICING ON CHRISTMAS DAY. I AM NOT GOING TO LIE. AND I WAS TIRED OF KNEELING DOWN TO GREET EVERY TIME.”
