Ebonyi State is a state in the southeastern Nigeria. It is inhabited and populated primarily by Igbo. Its capital and largest city is Abakaliki. It is one of the six states created in 1996 by the Abacha government. Ebonyi was created from parts of both Enugu State and Abia State.

1. Grace Amah

Grace Amah is a veteran nollywood actress.

She was born on 23rd February 1986 in Lagos State, although she is originally from Ebuwanna Etta in Ebonyi state. She is a graduate of University of Lagos.

Grace Amah has featured in over 150 nollywood movies. Some of her movies include Last Wedding (2004), Gangster Paradise (2001) and Society Lady (2003).

2. Chita Agwu Johnson

Chita Agwu Johnson is a popular Nollywood actress and movie producer.

Chita Agwu Johnson hails from Ebonyi State in the South eastern Nigeria.

Chita Agwu Johnson had her primary and secondary education in Ebonyi sate. She later went to Ebonyi State University where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Mass Communication. After graduation, Chita Agwu ventured into the Nigeria movie industry.

She joined the Nollywood movie industry in 2009.

Diamond Adaeze Igwe is a Nollywood actress from Ebonyi state.

She debuted into the film industry in 2004 when starred in the movie, Government House. She is one of Nigerian’s most sought-after actresses.

Tracy and Treasure Daniels are Nigerian identical twin actresses, models and movie producers.

They hail from Ebonyi State. The duo studied Social Works and Mass Communication from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Enugu State University of Science and Technology respectively.

They ventured into acting when they met a veteran Nollywood movie director, Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen.

Chacha Eke Faani, born May 1st, 1993, is a popular Nigerian actress.

She hails from Abarigwe Umuogude Osha Mbgo in Ohaukwu local government area of Ebonyi state, Nigeria. Charity was raised in Ebonyi State by her parents. Her father, Professor John Eke, is the Commissioner for Education.

She attended ESUT Nursery and Primary School. She relocated to Enugu state where she had her secondary school education at Our Lord Shepherd International School. She then returned to Ebonyi where she bagged a degree in Accountancy from Ebonyi State University.
