"I didn't have my period. I didn't talk to anyone. I panicked. I sat in the hot tub. In her memoir, the Good Morning America meteorologist opens up about the mental health challenges she faced following an abortion early in her career, hoping to reduce stigma for women in the future. "[The day after the miscarriage] was the epitome of shame and hormonal decline that started to come together, and I couldn't share it with others -- because I didn't tell anyone. I mean, there's someone in my life who knows what's going on, I didn't tell anyone else," she told The Washington Post. "I think part of this isolation has led me through the darkest days of my life.
