Not a lot of people would believe that Davido’s father didn’t want him to be the musician he is today. Davido’s father, Adedeji Adeleke, who is a billionaire had always wanted his son, Davido, to work in one of his companies.

Due to his burning passion for music, Davido once ran away from home. This made him move closer to some big musicians in the music industry to learn the ropes.

His dad reportedly once threatened to arrest these big musicians because he felt that they were the ones aiding him.

All these couldn’t stop Davido, and today, Davido is one of the biggest artistes in Africa.

Innocent Idibia, popularly known as Tuface Idibia, was also one of the children whose parents didn’t want him to do music.

Tuface once revealed that his mom never wanted him to become a musician. She wanted him to do white collar jobs like doctor, banker, lawyer etc.

Reality TV star, Angel Smith, is one of the most popular ex-housemates of the reality TV show ‘Big Brother Naija’.

Her parents initially never wanted her to be in the entertainment industry. They wanted her to go to school and get a job, but Angel dropped out of school twice.

While trying to find happiness a purpose for her existence, she auditioned for the Big Brother Naija reality TV show. Even though she didn’t win, Angel became very famous.
