1. Ebele Okaro

Ebele Okaro is a famous Nigerian actress, television personnel, a businesswoman, an investor, and a philanthropist.

Ebele was born on 19th January 1964 in London. She spent her childhood living in Nsukka, Enugu, Nigeria, and she is a devoted Roman Catholic family. Okro is currently 57 years old. Ebele celebrates her birthday on 19th January of every year.

Ebele Okaro was born into a family of entertainers as her parents were a good source of entertainment. Meanwhile, her father was an engineer but was also interested in arts and literature while her mother was a full-time television producer. The family played a critical role in influencing Ebele’s career.

She acquired her primary Education at Santa Maria Primary School in Nsukka. After getting her first leaving certificate, Ebele was enrolled in the Queen of Holy Rosary Secondary School in Enugu state, where she acquired her second leaving certificate. Upon completion of her secondary education, she joined the University of Calabar in Cross River State to pursue her degree in education. Since she had an interest in acting, she decided to drop her education course and took Theatre Arts, which took four years before acquiring her degree in Theatre Arts.

Ebele was married to her handsome and loving husband, Onyiuke, and they are blessed with beautiful children.

She discovered her acting talent when she was in Santa Maria Primary School as she involved herself in acting drama and stage plays. Ebele started her career as an actress at the Nigerian Television Authority after completing her National Youth Service. She became an actress since 1996, featuring in the movie,’ Egg of Life’ and from that year, her name has grown famous not only in her country but also internationally. Her talent and skills make her act effectively and play any role as directed.

She has acted movies together with famous actors like Pete Edochie, Jim Ike, Ramsey Noah, Omotola, Genevieve Nnaji, Kanayo O Kanayo, among others. Okaro once stopped acting and joined the embassy in Lagos. She also worked in the bank before she resumed her profession as an actress.

During the year 2014, she managed to produce and acted in the movie ‘Musical Whisper.’ That movie aimed to form a project that will love and care for children who are disabled. This Nigerian actress is also known as the Mother of Nollywood. She has acquired respect not only from her fans but also from her colleagues. 2. Binta Ayo Mogaji

Binta Ayo Mogaji is a veteran Nigerian actress. According to film critic, Shaibu Husseini, Mogaji has been a part of at least 800 film, television and theater production.

Born in 1964, Mogaji is a native of Agbo-Ile, Ibadan. Her father is an Islamic cleric, while her mother is an education administrator. In 2006, she married retired soccer player and physiotherapist, Victor Ayodele Oduleye. Prior to her marriage, she was romantically involved with actor, Jibola Dabo and had a son as a result of the relationship.

Her first home video film was Mojere, which was done in Yoruba. She was awarded best actress at the REEL Awards. In 2015, Mogaji debunked filmmakers preference for younger generation actors in Nollywood. She explained that their reasons can not be based on the act of professionalism, because there is nothing younger actors were doing that the older ones cant still do. In a 2018 interview with The Punch, Mogaji explained that due to her Islamic background, she has never acted semi-nude or kissed throughout her decades of practicing as an actress. She noted that producers know the type of role she can play.

3. Clarion Chukwura

Chief Clarion Nneka Oluwatoyin Folashade Chukwurah, born 24 July 1964, is a Nigerian actress and humanitarian.

Chukwura was born as the only daughter in a family of four. She is from Anambra State.

She had her nursery and primary school in Lagos and later pursued her secondary education at the Queen of the Rosary College, Onitsha.

She studied Acting and Speech at the Department of Dramatic Arts of Obafemi Awolowo University.

Clarion began her career in acting in 1980 but became popular when she featured in a soap opera titled, “mirror in the Sun.”

In 1982, she became the first Nigerian to win the Best Actress category at the FESPACO film festival in Burkina Faso.

In 2014, she won Africa Movie Academy Awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role for the movie, "Ipaye." She is the mother to music video director, Clarence Peters who she had with Fuji artiste, Sir Shina Peters out of wedlock.

Rita Edochie, born 16th April, 1964, is a gifted, talented and intelligent actress who can fit into any role and has featured in many Nollywood movies.

Her career as an actress started way back in 1997. So far, she has over 100 movie credits to her name.

Rita Edochie is often mistaken to be a Nollywood veteran Pete Edochie's wife. However, Rita Edochie is a wife of Tony Edochie, a younger brother of Pete Edochie Rita is a mother of four and a grandmother.

Rita Edochie was born and bred in Onitsha. She was raised by her uncle, Mr. Okaka. She spent her early life in Onitsha, where she completed her primary and secondary school education, and obtained her first school leaving certificate and her West Africa Senior school certificate respectively.

As a lover of education, she proceeded to study Mass Communication at Nnamdi Azikiwe university Anambra State, Nigeria, where she graduated with a degree in Mass communication in 1990.

After her education at about 30 years ago, she got married to the father of her four children, Tony Edochie, a younger brother to a Nollywood star Chief Pete Edochie. She got employed for the first time after she completed her education, as a Radio Presenter at Anambra State Broadcasting Service, where she worked for 15 years.

She finally make her first debut in Nollywood in 1997. Rita has featured in over 100 movies. She starred in the movie “Waterloo” and she is popular for taking up motherly roles.

Rita Edochie has a cordial relationship with her brother-in-law, Pete Edochie. He is the elder brother to her husband, Tony Edochie. Rita followed the footsteps of Pete Edochie by joining Nollywood Movie Network.

However, since her childhood, she demonstrated her stage acting talent, thus, it’s also something that has been a flair.

In 2020, Edochie was allegedly running a scam alongside a Nigerian pastor by the name of Odumeje, in which Edochie coerced or paid individuals to feign ailments and have the pastor pray for them and they got healed whilst in actuality they were never ill.
