Meet The Only Nigeria Actor Who Married Four Wives And Have Many Children

On January 12, 1954, actor Jide Kosoko was born into a royal family on Lagos Island. He had his primary and secondary school education on Lagos Island and at Ebute Metta, and then went on to Yaba College of Education in Yaba to study Business Administration. When Jide was 60 years old, he studied Performing Arts at Olabisi Onabanjo University.

After performing on Awada Kerikeri, the actor soared to popularity. On the show, he was joined by Lanre Hassan, Oga Bello, and Sunday Omobolanle.

Actor Jide has four wives, three of whom have passed away. The actor met Alhaja Karimat Kosoko, who became his new soulmate. He is the father of 12 children and the father of Nollywood actresses and performers like Bidemi and Tunde Kosoko. He is now acknowledged as one of Nigeria’s top actors, despite the fact that he is no longer appearing in films.
