Mercy Aigbe talked about how her daughter reacted to the news of her getting married to the CEO of Adekaz production, Kazim Adeoti. The actress said her daughter, Michelle, was the first person to know about her intentions to remarry after she left her first husband, Lanre Gentry.

In an interview with Media House Hub, Mercy Aigbe announced that she had to promise her daughter that her marriage to Kazim will be her last.

“The first person I spoke to was my daughter when she came home for holiday. I told her I'm going to give marriage another shot, and that will be my last.”

Mercy said Michelle, who she described as an “emotional person” showed concern and asked her mother if she wanted to have a second marriage.

“At first, she asked if I wanted to do that because she is a very emotional person. We have gone through a whole lot together. We have cried and laughed together. She has watched me go through a lot of trauma.”

Mercy Aigbe and her newly wedded husband, have been on the news ever since they got married. Although some people condemn the action of the actress, she said people should not criticise her decision because she was happy.
