More than 10% of Nollywood celebrities you see today began to pursue their career at a very young age and many among them have matured and risen to stardom as a result of their talents and consistency in the industry.
However, in today's article, I will be sharing with you Nollywood stars that started as kid actors and have matured and grown to become better actors in the industry.

The multi-talented actor is happily married to the love of his life, Brunella Oscar; a physician at Hull York Medical who hails from Anambra State, Nigeria.
2. Funke Akindele
Without a doubt, Funke Akindele is among the most successful Nollywood actress and director in Nigeria. Funke Akindele also known as Jenifa is a Nigerian film actress, director, and scriptwriter known for her excellent interpretation of roles. The Nollywood actress has been in the industry for over 15 years and is still relevant in the industry. She began her carrier as a kid actor before she eventually rose to fame.
Jenifa has produced and directed over 200 movies. To add to her credit, the renowned actress won the Africa Movie Academy Award in 2009.
Funke Akindele is happily married and the union has been blessed with beautiful and wonderful children.
3. Regina Daniel
Arguably, Regina Daniel is the youngest and most successful actress in Nigeria. The beautifully born actress and director took after her mother's profession and began to pursue her career when she was just 8 years old. Ever since then, Regina Daniels has starred and directed more than 50 Nigeria movies.
Regina is happily married to a successful businessman and Politician, Ned Nwoko and the union has been blessed with a beautiful boy.
4. Azeez Ololade Ijaduade
Azeez Ololade Ijaduade is another distinguished actor in the industry. He began acting at a very young age. Actor Azeez first movie role was in the year 1992 and since then he has directed over 10 movies and also featured in a lot.
The Yoruba Nollywood actor, director, and producer is the son of legendary actor Dimeji Ijaduade Azeez.
However, actor Ololade has grown to become a better actor in the industry. He is happily married to the love of life and the union has produced a beautiful girl.
5. Destiny Etiko
Destiny Etiko is another popular Nigerian actress known for her beautiful and excellent delivery of scripts. The award-winning Nigerian actress began her acting profession at a very young age. She acted in her first movie, Twin Brothers when she was still in primary school.
Destiny Etiko has grown to become one of the most successful Nollywood actresses in the industry. To add to her credit, Destiny won the City People Movie Award for Most Promising Actress at the City People Entertainment Awards in 2016.
6. Susan Pwajok
Susan Pwajok is another young and vibrant actress in the industry. The Nigerian actress is known for her role as 'Blessing' in the TV “The Johnson". The Nollywood actress has grown to become a better actor, director, and filmmaker.
7. Genevieve
Genevieve is a Nollywood Star who ventured into the Entertainment Industry as a very young girl. Genevieve started her career when she was just 8 years and rose to stardom after she got starred in a Television Series called "Ripples". The single mother of one has been in the industry for over two decades and she has matured in the Industry.
