Some of the things people look out for in celebrities is their lifestyle and behavior. Talking about marriage, most of Nigerian female celebrities have been so unlucky. Though, no one understands what lies in marriage until they make that strong move to stroll down the path. The greater part of females are restless to hop into a wonderful outfit and go for the lofty stroll in the midst of cheers without thinking about the workability of the marriage. In this article, I will be revealing some of Nigerian celebrities that are yet to find love again after divorcing their husbands.
1. Toke Makinwa: One should have thought that her marriage should have been the perfect ever but behold, it wasn't. The popular media personality dated her long-time boyfriend and health instructor Maje Ayida for 7 years. They got married in 2014 but ceased living together in 2015.
2. Chika Ike: The beautiful actress who is also a businesswoman and writer got married to Tony Eberiri in 2006 but the marriage ended their marriage in 2013. In 2013, she opened up about how she was domestically abused in her past marriage. She filed for divorce due to domestic violence in 2013.
3. Mercy Aigbe: She got married to Lanre Gentry who is an hotelier for seven years. The actress accused her husband of physical violence and assault. This she said it affected her sight, and caused her to bleed internally for over three weeks She disclosed their separation in 2017.
4. Tiwatope Savage: Tiwa Savage got married to Tunji Balogun on 23 November 2013. The couple held their traditional marriage at the Ark in Lekki. The couple's white wedding was held on 26 April 2014 at the Armani Hotel in Dubai. The wedding produced a son called Jamil. Both had irreconcilable differences which led to their separation. Despite an elaborate and expensive wedding, the marriage didn't last long.
5. Tonto Dikeh: She got married in August 2015 to Olakunle Churchill and got separated in February, 2016. The marriage didn't last a year. It could be gathered that bot blamed the divorce on each other although Tonto Dikeh said her mother in law never liked her.
6. Ini Edo: The gorgeous celebrity walked down the aisle in 2008 with an American business mogul Philip Ehiagwina. Following accusations of domestic violence and cheating, the marriage ended in 2014.
