Inetimi Timaya Odon is one of the most talented Nigerian artists, whose songs are trending in numerous radio and TV stations. The multi-talented singer wasn't born rich as struggled to achieve success in life.
• His humble beginning.
Timaya shared some of his life experiences in his hit single titled "Plantain Boy." He talked about how he sold plantain and struggled in the street of Lagos. Timaya moved to Lagos in other to pursue a musical career, he worked with artists including the famous Eedris Abdulkareem before focusing on his solo career.
• His road to stardom
Timaya became famous in the entertainment industry after he released his hit single titled "Dem Mama," the song talked about the killings that took place in Bayelsa many years ago. After the release of the song, he successfully launched his record label, known as Dem Mama Records and he produced lots of hit singles and albums. According to Wikipedia, he was appointed as a Peace Ambassador by the Interreligious and International Federation for World Peace (IIFWP) in 2011. He also won numerous music awards including the Nigeria Music Awards, The Headies Awards, Nigeria Entertainment Awards, and many others.
