A phobia is an extreme or irrational fear of something. Every human has a phobia but it differs for every individual. Some have a phobia for some kind of animals and insects, water, aging, heights, and the list goes on and on.
Nigerian celebrities are not left out has some of them have revealed some of their phobias in interviews and on their social media pages.
In this article, I will be sharing with you 4 Nigerian celebrities who have phobias for flying in aircraft.
1. Pete Edochie
Pete Edochie is a Nigerian actor who came to the limelight in the 80s when he played the lead role in Chinua Achebe's novel Things Fall Apart adapted for TV.
Over the years, the veteran actor has starred in several movies and has notable awards to his credit.
In an interview with The Sun a couple of years ago, he said he has been invited several times outside the shores of the country but he abandoned the trips because he is afraid of flying.
Because of his phobia of flying, he rarely travels abroad and probably often goes by road when he wants to go to events and movie sets to other states in the country.<./p>
2. Davido
David Adeleke popularly known as Davido is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, and record producer.
He shot to the limelight when he released his hit single "Dami Duro" from his 2012 album Omo Baba Olowo.
Over the years, he has released a series of hits and has received several accolades throughout his career. He is currently not just one of the biggest artists in Nigeria but also in Africa.
As a globally celebrated artist, he often travels outside the shores of the country for performances, tours, events, music videos, vacations, etc.
So, it is somewhat surprising that he has a phobia of flying in aircraft. One would have expected him to be used to flying but that is not the case.
He sometimes posts some of his frightening moments in aircraft on his social media pages where he appeared scared as he holds tightly to his seat with his eyes closed which is somewhat amusing.

Apart from being scared to fly in aircraft, he appears to also be scared of heights in general as it is seen on the screenshot below where he was parasailing(a canopy wing that resembles a parachute attached to a vehicle and towed.

3. Tiwa Savage
Tiwa Savage is a Nigerian singer and songwriter who is currently one of the A-list artists in Nigeria.
The talented singer started her music career in the UK before she relocated to Nigeria to continue her music career. She signed with Mavin Records in 2012, and ever since then, her career has grown in leaps and bounds and she has several accolades and endorsement deals to show for it.
She revealed in one of her Instagram posts that she hates flying as she is always scared anytime she is flying despite she travels to different countries for shows and tours all the time.

4. Bimbo Ademoye
Bimbo Ademoye is a Nigerian actress who is rising quite fast in the movie industry.
The talented actress started her acting career in 2014 when she starred in the short film Where Talent Lies.
In a relatively short time, she has been about to carve a niche for herself as an outstanding actress and has starred in several movies alongside notable Nollywood actors.
She revealed some time ago on her Instagram page that she is scared of heights as well as flying, and whenever she is flying, she would usually give up her window seats in the plane to anyone interested or close her eyes throughout the journey.
