Some of the multi-talented celebrities who worked hard in putting smiles on our faces through their works in the entertainment industry have been snatched away from us by death. Some of these best-performing entertainers died in 2021.
However, I will be sharing with you some of the famous faces in the Nigerian entertainment industry we lost in 2021.
#1. Baba Suwe
Famous Nigerian Yoruba movie star, Baba Suwe died on Monday, 22 November 2021 as a result of the health complications he suffered from. The talented movie star who was known for featuring in comic movies will forever be missed in the entertainment industry. May his soul rest in peace
#2. Rachel Oniga
The news of the death of Rachel Oniga came as a surprise to most Nigerian entertainers and entertainment fans as no one expected the sudden death of the movie star. She is one of the actresses that contributed and made Nollywood what it is today. She died at the age of 64 after suffering from a brief illness.
#3. Bruno Iwuoha
Legendary Nollywood actor, Bruno Iwuoha suffered from diabetes for several years before he died on Friday, April 10, 2021. His legacy still lives in the Nigerian entertainment industry.
#4. Sound Sultan:
Olanrewaju Fasasi famously known as Sound Sultan was a Nigerian rapper, singer, songwriter, and recording artist. He was one of the pioneers of modern hip-hop music in Nigeria. The multi-talented artist died in 2021 at age of 44 after battling cancer.
