The African Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) is set to hold this November. The Award is regarded as the African biggest movie Award and was established to honour African actors, actresses, movie producers, directors, and other agents that are contributing to the African movie industry.
However, some beautiful Nigerian actresses have been recognized among the African movie stars that were nominated for the 2021 AMA Awards.
The three multi-talented Nigerian actresses that stand the chance of winning the award are discussed below.
#1. Ini Edo
The legendary Nigerian actress, Ini Edo has achieved a lot in the Nigerian movie industry, her performance in the movie industry has earned her several awards. It may interest you to know that she has never won the award before but has the chance to do so in the 2021 edition of the award as she has been nominated for the this year's AMA Award for the Best African Actress in a Supporting Role. She came this far as a result of the performance she displayed in the movie titled "The Citation."

Funke Akindele is one of the best movie stars in Nigeria. Her performance in Nollywood has earned her over 17 movie awards including the 2009 Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role. The talented movies star is also recognized in this year's AMA Awards as the role she played in the cinema movie, Omo Ghetto earned a nomination for the 2021 AMA Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role.
#3. Rita Dominic
Rita Dominic is a professional actress and movie producer, she has over 10 movie Awards to her record. In 2012, Rita Dominic won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role. The beautiful actress has another chance of making history to repeat itself as she is also a nominee for the 2021 AMA Award for Best Actress in a Lead Role. Winning this award will make her a 2-time winner of AMA Award in the same category.
