It happens to the best of us; you’re angry, in a fight with the person you love, and without even thinking, you say things that you regret and wish that you could take back. Sometimes the words that you shout out while in the heat of the moment might even be true but they’re unnecessary to say out loud and/or just downright hurtful. No matter how upset you are, don’t let these things come out of your mouth.

1. Do whatever you want to, I don't care

Although you don’t mean it but when you say you don’t care, it might have an undesirable effect on your partner. It hurts the most when the person you love says that he or she does not love them anymore.

2. You are Pathetic

"You should always avoid labeling your partner when you're dissatisfied with his or her behavior," a registered divorce and sex therapist. "When we label a person, they get defensive right away." Stick to observations about your S.O.'s behavior, instead.

3. I wish I never got Involved with you

"Or, 'I wish I was still with Sofia, Bringing up a former lover or relationship is about the worst thing you can do, Even if it isn't true, "your partner will always believe it. You should not bring names of your ex whenever you are angry with your spouse.

4. Never Compare them.

Even if you’ve been in relationships before, been in love before, f**ked tons of people before, you should never compare the person right in front of you with anyone else. Don’t compare your girlfriend to some hot girl at the bar, or your boyfriend to the jacked guy at the gym. No one likes to feel like they’re in competition with someone they don’t even know. You’ll do nothing but make them feel bad about themselves and then they will resent you for it.

5. Don't Snoop

We all do it. We peak at their phone when it’s left open, we go through a mysterious drawer when they leave the room. But snooping can only lead to problems. Either you’ll get caught, or you’ll find something you don’t want to find

6. Never Bring up the past.

This is a major no- no in an argument. In a relationship, you should only be focusing on the present. No matter how brutal a fight might get, you should never bring up an event from the past. You have to leave it behind. If your boyfriend cheated on you, if your girlfriend did something fucked up that hurt you at one point, you have absolutely no right to bring it up again and use it as ammunition.

No matter how angry you are don't ever utter hurtful words to your partner. Words spoken can never be taken back. Just like egg, once it is broken it can't be packed. Hurtful words put dent in a Relationships.
